SNR Developers Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
SNR Developers ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit snrdevs.com, how we use it, and your rights under applicable data protection law including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
1. Who We Are
SNR Developers is a software and digital growth agency. Our website is hosted at snrdevs.com. For data enquiries, contact us at [email protected].
2. Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you actively provide it:
- Contact form - name and email address, plus any website, service, budget or message you choose to provide when requesting a plan or quote.
- Email checks - only when you submit an enquiry form, we send the email address to Bouncer to assess whether it can receive our reply. Typing an address or leaving the email field does not trigger verification.
- AI chatbot - messages you send to our on-site chatbot. We save up to 10 recent conversations on our server, linked to a private browser cookie, so you can return to them. Avoid sharing passwords, API keys, payment details or private customer information.
- Server logs - standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes.
We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics pixels, or marketing cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To respond to your project enquiry and provide a quote.
- To check enquiry email deliverability and reduce invalid or disposable addresses. A successful check does not establish ownership or marketing consent.
- To answer questions you ask via the AI chatbot.
- To maintain the security and performance of our website (server logs).
- We will not send you marketing emails, add you to mailing lists, or share your data with third parties for advertising without your explicit consent.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
- Legitimate interests - responding to enquiries you initiate and operating a secure website.
- Contractual necessity - processing enquiry data to provide a quote or enter into an engagement.
- Legal obligation - retaining records where required by applicable law.
5. Third-Party Processors
We share data with the following sub-processors solely to operate our website:
Resend
Email delivery - contact form submissions are forwarded to our team via Resend's email API. Data is processed in accordance with Resend's privacy policy.Bouncer
Email verification - the address entered in an enquiry form is sent to Bouncer to check deliverability. We do not send your project brief, budget or name as part of that verification request.Anthropic
AI chatbot - the recent messages in your current conversation and our service information are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate a reply. Chat messages are not sent to our email provider unless you separately submit an enquiry form.Hosting provider
Web hosting - our hosting infrastructure processes website requests and stores our private enquiry and chat records. Standard server logs support security and operations.Enquiry records and campaign attribution
When you submit an enquiry or request a plan, we save your details and request on our server and in the SNR customer management system so we can respond. If the page URL contains campaign information, we attach that information to your submission. An email link reference is associated with a campaign only when the submitted address matches the recipient record. We do not treat an email open or link click as a sale. Enquiry records follow the same retention period as enquiry emails. We do not automatically subscribe you to marketing by submitting this form.
6. Data Retention
- Enquiry emails - retained in our inbox for up to 24 months, then deleted unless an active client relationship exists.
- Email verification cache and abuse prevention - our server temporarily caches a deliverability result associated with a hashed email address for up to 24 hours. Inconclusive results are cached only briefly to allow retries. Hashed network addresses and submitted email hashes are used for a 24-hour limit of two different addresses per network.
- Chatbot messages - conversations expire 30 days after their last message. Expired records are removed by an hourly cleanup. Only the 10 most recent conversations are kept, with up to 80 messages each. You can remove your saved conversations using Delete all history in chat. History is specific to your browser; clearing its cookie or switching devices means it cannot be retrieved through chat. Separate enquiry submissions are not removed when you delete chat history.
- Server logs - retained by our hosting provider per their standard policy (typically 30–90 days).
8. Your Rights
Under the UK/EU GDPR you have the right to:
- Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure - request deletion of your data where there is no overriding legal basis to retain it.
- Restriction - ask us to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability - receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Object - object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
9. International Transfers
Some processors listed above (Anthropic, Resend) may process data outside the UK/EU. Where this occurs, transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms approved by the relevant supervisory authority.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be noted here.
